Little River Dragway presents the 2026 Vintage Drags on March 27-28 and October 16-17. Historic Little River Dragway has been a piece of Texas hot rodding history since it opened in 1957. The Vintage Drags are dedicated to vintage speed, featuring early style hot rods, racecars, gassers, dragsters and more tearing down the same old dragstrip in the heart of Texas that has been raced on for decades.
Traditionally-built hot rods, stock cars, gassers and dragsters, all American made 1975 and earlier are welcome to come have fun with some drag racing. Friday gates open at noon with the track going hot at 6 p.m. Saturday gates open at 8 a.m. with the track going hot at 10 a.m.
Racing classifications include Leisure Class (10 seconds and slower, $20 entry fee), Street Class (8-9.99 seconds, $20 entry fee), Comp Class (6.51-7.99 seconds, $20 entry fee), Super Comp Class (6.50 and faster, $50 entry fee), and Vintage Engine Class ($20 entry fee) for engines designed before 1954. Payouts and trophies awarded to winners and runners-up in each class.
Cars must be American made, 1975 and older to qualify. All races are 1/8 mile only. Seatbelts and helmets required for all cars and racers. For more information, visit www.littleriverdragway.com or contact Mike Garvin at 254-982-0119.
