The West Nassau Historical Society will host its 21st annual Railroad Day Festival and Classic Car Show on Saturday, March 28, 2026. The event will take place from 9 AM to 3 PM in and around the historic Callahan Train Depot and the 1856 Florida Railroad bed in Callahan, Florida.
This year’s festival will feature the grand opening of the Smithsonian Institution Exhibit, “Nassau + Food + Culture: What We Each Bring to the Table,” and a celebration of America’s 250th birthday. The Depot Museum, exhibition buildings, the original train station, and a 1940s-era caboose will be open to the public.
Arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, and entertainment will be available from 9 AM to 3 PM. The kids’ area will include a hands-on music zoo and scavenger hunt. The classic car show, hosted by Callahan Cruisers at Cochrane’s Collision Center, will run from 10 AM to 2 PM with awards presented at 2 PM on the Callahan PAV Pavilion. Antique machines, tractors, scaled trains, and model train layouts will also be on display.
Admission is free. All proceeds will benefit the West Nassau Historical Society. For more information, visit www.wnhsfl.org or call 904-879-3406.
