The 23rd Annual “The Way We Were” Car Show is scheduled for Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will take place at Front Street in Historic Downtown Ballston Spa, with a rain date set for October 19.
Judging will begin at 9 a.m., and trophies will be awarded at 3:30 p.m. Categories include Best of Show Car, Best of Show Truck, Best Engine, Best Paint, Best Stock, Best Import, Farthest Traveled, Oldest Vehicle, Mayor’s Choice, President’s Choice, and Special Category Trophies. Dash plaques will be given to the first 400 entries.
There is a $20 non-refundable pre-registration fee. Participants can pre-register online at www.ballston.org or by mail with a form and payment sent to BSBPA, PO Box 386, Ballston Spa, NY 12020. For more information, call 518-885-2772 or email [email protected].
Vehicle categories for entry include various classes of Corvettes, Mustangs, muscle cars, stock and modified vehicles, import stock, tuner cars, trucks, rods, customs, rat rods, preservation/barn finds, and others. Judging will be based on category specifications and engine score accounts for a percentage of the total score. Participants must leave their vehicle hoods open for judging.
Proceeds from the event benefit BSBPA community activities.
