The Pasadena Police Department will host the 24th Annual Pasadena PD Car Show on Saturday, June 6th, 2026. The event aims to raise funds for the Police Explorer Program and the Pasadena Police Activities League (PAL), both of which are registered non-profit organizations.
The Police Explorer Program is designed for young men and women aged 14-21 interested in law enforcement. Participants receive physical training and attend a brief academy to learn about police customs and courtesies. The program allows participants to collaborate with Pasadena Police Department members and fosters career development in law enforcement.
The Pasadena PAL program, established in 1999, has served over 3,500 youth in Pasadena through various athletic, art, and educational programs. It focuses on building positive relationships between youth and police officers while teaching values such as teamwork, honesty, and personal accountability. The PAL Center offers a safe environment for children after school and during summer breaks, providing educational enrichment and opportunities for various activities.
Community contributions play a vital role in sustaining these programs. Donations of items for goodie bags, prizes, and monetary contributions will help offset event expenses and support the programs for future generations.
