The 30th Annual Downtown Plaza Car Show & Cruise In, hosted by the Morton Ave. Misfits, returns to Jacksonville, Illinois, on Saturday, June 13, 2026. The event will begin with a judged car show from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. around the downtown square at Central Park Plaza. Participants can register for over 20 classes with a $20 entry fee, or enter for display only at $5. A pedal car class is included. The event offers door prizes, raffles, giveaways, food vendors, music, crafts, and a swap meet. Vendor spots are available.
The car cruise will take place along Morton Avenue from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. All vehicles are welcome to join the cruise with no entry fee. The car show and cruise are recurring events organized by Morton Ave. Misfits, a volunteer group supporting local charities and community organizations with event proceeds.
