The 36th Annual Vista Rod Run takes place Sunday, September 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Historic Downtown Vista. The event showcases hundreds of classic cars, vintage trucks, and off-road vehicles competing for 40 trophies. The show is free to the public.
Vehicle load-in and check-in runs from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., with the show opening to spectators at 9 a.m. No entries are accepted after 9 a.m., and vehicles must remain on-site until 2 p.m. Participants receive a dash plaque and vehicle placard at the information tent.
The event features live music throughout the day, specialty auto vendors, and downtown shopping and restaurants. All participants must display their vehicle placard on the driver’s side dashboard to be eligible for awards. No alcohol, loud music, or burnouts are permitted.
