The 37th Annual Lehigh Township Benefit Festival & Car Show is set for Sunday, October 5th, in Walnutport, Pennsylvania, with a rain date of October 12th. Hosted by the Lehigh Township Lions Club, the event runs from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM and supports Dream Come True of the Blue Ridge Chapter, benefiting seriously, chronically, and terminally ill children.
The car show features a non-judged awards ceremony at 3 PM with 10 trophies awarded. Pre-registration for the car show is $15, with day-of registration priced at $20. Registration is open from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and dash plaques will be provided to the first 200 cars registered.
Attendees can enjoy a flea market, crafts, a children’s game area, and live music by the band “TimeWhys” from 12 PM to 3 PM. DJ Tony will also play oldies from 11 AM to 3:30 PM. Additional attractions include an Emerald Dragon Karate demonstration, hayrides, and sculptured balloons by Robin. Flea market and craft vendor spaces are available for $25 for a 20’x20′ space. Set-up begins at 7 AM.
Donations will be collected at the gate for those arriving to attend the benefit. Please be cautious of scammers posing as event registrants online. Applications will be available through official channels only, sent to Becky’s Drive-In with payment. Since 1986, this benefit has raised over $460,398 for the charity.
