The 3rd annual Altura Hometown Fest Car Show and Burnout Competition will take place on Saturday, September 20 in Altura, Minnesota. Gates open at 11 a.m. The car show is free to enter and includes 18 awards, with door prizes throughout the day.
Burnout competition entry is $10 per class, featuring three classes with stationary burnouts held on concrete for 45 seconds. There are nine burnout awards, with cash prizes for first place in each class. An awards ceremony will follow the burnout events.
Registered vehicles can join a parade at 2 p.m. Activities will include bounce houses, a large water fight, food vendors, and music. The event is supported by the Altura Fest Committee, Southpoint Auto Body, and Southpoint Motors.
