The 41st Annual SCIO Show & Shine Car Show takes place at SCIO Community Park. Registration runs from 8 AM to noon, with the show from noon to 3 PM. Entry fee is $10 per car, with dash plaques sponsored by SCIO Tire for the first 150 vehicles. Judges select the top 25 favorite cars, with 55 total awards presented. Top 10 motorcycles awards are sponsored by Crowbar, Inc. Local merchants present awards in categories including Antique (Best of Show, Buick, Camaro, Chevy SS-SS57, Chevelle, Antique Truck), Corvette (Custom Interior, Longest Distance, Ford, Dodge, Jeep), Mustang (Olds/Pontiac, Paint Job, Plymouth, Special Interest, Under Construction), and Import Street Machine (Street Rod, Truck, Unrestored, 2005 & Newer). DJ Spikeman provides entertainment, sponsored by Mattern Tire of Cadiz, Ohio. T-shirts are sponsored by Budweiser Muxie Distributing of Bellaire, Ohio. Top 25 awards are provided by Clearfork Trucking, Inc., SCIO NAPA Auto Parts, Piatt Trucking, and Blackies Garage & Towing in memory of Gary Daugherty. Proceeds benefit SCIO Volunteer Fire Department. The event is part of the SCIO Summer Fest running August 20-23, 2026, featuring rides, music, games, and food.
