About This Event
The 41st Annual SealMaster Superchargers Showdown returns to Maryland International Raceway in Mechanicsville, Maryland, for a full weekend of drag racing action from October 2 through October 4, 2026. Billed as hosting the largest field of Funny Cars ever at MIR, the weekend brings high-horsepower competition and fan-favorite exhibitions to the quarter-mile track.
Featured highlights include Funny Cars competing in Legends Under the Lights, 300 mph Jet Dragsters featuring Wicked Sinsation and Beast from the East, Warriors Outlaw qualifying and eliminations, Burnouts for Bunny & Bear, and the Southern Outlaw Top Sportsman class battling for a $10,000-to-win top prize.
Action begins Friday with early bird and evening participant testing followed by professional qualifying sessions at 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Saturday features Sportsman time trials and eliminations alongside afternoon and evening professional sessions at 2:00 PM, 6:00 PM, 8:00 PM, and 10:00 PM. Sunday wraps up the weekend with 1320 Fabrication ET Series eliminations across Super Pro, Pro ET, Sportsman, and Junior Dragster categories.
Spectator admission offers single-day tickets and full weekend passes, with free general parking outside the gates, optional preferred pit-side grass parking, and weekend RV camping available on site.
