The 4th Annual Apple Dumpling Car Show takes place in downtown Atwood, Ill., in the United Church parking lot and along the main street. The event is open to all cars, trucks and motorcycles, with registration based on a donation. Each entry receives a coupon for a free sliced apple.
All proceeds will be split between the Atwood-Hammond Christmas Needy Fund and the Atwood Area Food Bank. Participants will judge the entries, with 17 trophies awarded across categories including Pre-1950s, 1950-1969, 1970-1999, 2000-2019, 2021-Current, a Pastor’s Choice trophy and a Best of Show trophy. Door prizes will be given out every 15 minutes, and dash plaques and goodie bags will also be available.
