The 58th Annual Mid-Eastern Regional Fly-In & Car Show takes place Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Grimes Municipal Airport in Urbana. The event features Military Appreciation Day, honoring veterans and active-duty service members.
Admission is free for the visiting public and all fly-in aircraft. Attendees can view regional aircraft alongside classic, custom, and muscle cars. A dedicated kids’ activity area will be available, and local vendors will serve food throughout the day.
Pilots arriving early can take advantage of a fuel special: $1 off per gallon of Avgas for the first 500 gallons sold, courtesy of Purvis Brothers, Inc.
The event begins at 8 a.m. with a pancake breakfast in the North Grimes Hangar. Judging for the fly-in and car show starts at 9 a.m., food trucks arrive at 10 a.m., and awards are presented at 1 p.m. The event concludes at 2 p.m.
