5th Annnual Car Show at the Climax Vol. Fire Dept.

The Climax Volunteer Fire Department will hold its 5th annual car show on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 7436 Climax Rd, Mt Vernon, KY 40456. Entry fee for vehicles is $15 while spectator admission is free and donations are accepted; judging begins at 12:00 PM. The show will feature cars, trucks, motorcycles and other driveable entries with categories including Top 30, Best Ratrod, Best Jeep, Best GM/Ford/Mopar, Fireman’s Choice, Kids Choice, and Best Motorcycle. Attendees can expect concessions, music, a 50/50, vendors, and door prizes, with all proceeds benefiting the Climax Vol. Fire Department.

Vendor spots are available for $25 and will be placed on mowed grass to keep paved parking for show cars; spaces are limited. Businesses or individuals who donate door prizes will be added to the sponsor list and receive social media shoutouts and mentions during the event. The fire department is located a couple of miles from the Climax water bottling company and about 15 minutes from I-75.
