The Bandys High Band Alumni Association presents the 5th Annual Bandys High School “For The Kids” Car Show on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to noon at 5040 E Bandys Cross Rd, Catawba, NC. Registration is $20 and ends at 10:30 a.m. The rain date is Saturday, August 15.
The event features food, live music, door prizes and awards at noon. Hotdogs and snowcones will be for sale. Performances will include local artists and Bandys High School students.
Awards will be given for Kid’s Choice, Loudest Rev, Highest Car Club Participation, Best Tractor, Best Rat Rod, Best Muscle Car, Best Import, Best Jeep, Best Motorcycle, Best Truck, All Original, Best Vintage (Pre 1950) and Best Classic (1950-1979).
