The 6th Annual Veterans In The Park Car Show will be held on May 23 at the Jackson River Sports Complex in Covington, Virginia. Registration opens at 8 a.m., with the car show running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event takes place alongside the Covington Parks and Recreation kick-off to summer activities and features door prizes, raffles, 50/50 drawings, food, vendors, and kids activities.
Evening entertainment includes performances by America Honey from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Buddy Allen and the Cheat River Band from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. A $500 cash drawing is scheduled for Saturday night. All proceeds will be split between the three local VFW halls.
