Accessible Trunk Or Treat

The Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Office hosts its second annual car show alongside a fourth annual trunk or treat on Halloween at The Greene Turtle in Edgewater. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and combines a vehicle show with candy giveaways and a new coat giveaway for children, who must be present to receive a coat.

Spectators and trunk-or-treaters attend free. Families can view the vehicles and take part in the Halloween activities. The event is designed to create a safe, accessible Halloween experience for all children, including children with disabilities.

Vehicle owners pay $20 to enter the show, or $10 if they hand out candy to trunk-or-treaters. Participant sign-in begins at 9 a.m. The first 50 registered vehicles receive a commemorative dash plaque, and 14 awards will be presented. All vehicles are welcome. Owners can register by scanning the event QR code or by emailing Christina Smith at [email protected].

Proceeds benefit the Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Foundation and help provide training and equipment for members of the Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Office. Trunk-or-treat questions can go to Corporal Hines at [email protected].
