The inaugural Air-cooled Covered Bridge Cruise will take place in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, on May 30, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Registration runs from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Lake Nockamixon – Tohickon Boat Launch parking area in Ottsville.
This vintage Volkswagen car cruise features a 63-mile route through the Bucks County countryside, passing eight historic covered bridges. Eligible vehicles include air-cooled VW models such as Bugs, Buses, Buggies, Things, Ghias, and Porsches. Participants are asked to arrive with a full tank of gas and a mechanically capable vehicle. The drive features mainly paved back roads with brief 50-55 mph sections and several photo stops at the bridges.
