American Legion Post 250 at 10950 Dauphin Island Parkway in Theodore, Alabama, hosts the Alabama Pharoahs 5th Annual Car Show each year. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with registration open from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
The car show features judged classes with first and second place awards in categories including Rat Rods, Pre-1930 Stock, Pre-1930 Modified, and vehicles from the 1930s through the 2010s. Additional awards include Best of Show, DJ’s Choice, Best Engine Bay, Best Paint, Best Body, Best Interior, Sponsor Awards, Work In Progress, and a 50/50 drawing.
Food and beverages, including hamburgers, hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches, soft drinks, and snacks, are served by the American Legion. Music is provided by The Po’ Boys. The event also features Mobile’s Azalea Trail Maids from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots, with donations collected inside the Legion Post. The event supports the Military Order of the Purple Heart – South Alabama Chapter and is family friendly.
