About This Event
Alberta Day takes place August 30, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Bruderheim. The Fire Department hosts a fundraiser breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. A Show n’ Shine runs from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., with winners announced at 4:30 p.m. A crosswalk unveiling is scheduled for 1 p.m.
Activities include bouncy castles for all ages, a chili cook-off at 2 p.m., live music on Queen Street, face painting and balloon twisting from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., snow cones and cotton candy, and a sand pile loonie dig for children. The museum will be open from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The first 50 households to reach the Gazebo receive an Alberta flag. Food trucks include Scoopz Ice Cream and Hava Java.
All activities will be held in the Community Hall and around Gazebo Park and by the south side of the Fire Department.
