American Legion Post 243 in South Plainfield hosts the Wednesday Night Freedom Cruise every first and third Wednesday of the month from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The recurring cruise night welcomes cars, trucks, and motorcycles, with trophies awarded and music provided. Food includes hotdogs, hamburgers, french fries, and pizza. The July 1 edition will feature a special 250th anniversary cruise night and car show with DJ Richie the Flash performing flashback hits, plus special raffles and activities.
