Autumn Adventure

Wendt’s Wildlife Adventure hosts its Autumn Adventure, a family Halloween event combining trick-or-treating, a trunk or treat, a classic car show and a costume contest. Trick-or-treating at the zoo runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with businesses and vendors setting up trick-or-treat stations throughout the zoo. The trunk or treat and classic car show run from noon to 4 p.m., with festive music by Let’s Cruise Entertainment and Gayle McCord. The costume contest starts at 1 p.m. with age groups for 0–2, 3–5, 6–9, 10 and up, and family. Craft show vendors are set up throughout the day for holiday shopping. Regular admission applies. The zoo will also be open in November for another visit as the season changes.
