Back to the Bricks hosts its annual Cruise N Concert on Friday, Aug. 14, in downtown Flint at the intersection of Kearsley and Saginaw streets. Saginaw Street and surrounding side streets close to vehicle traffic to make way for a showcase of collector and classic cars.
Food trucks, local restaurants, bars and automotive vendors will be on hand throughout the event, including vendors on the Flat Lot. Downtown Flint businesses will also be open for shopping.
Live music is scheduled on the main stage at Kearsley and Saginaw, sponsored by Big John Steak & Onion and Tonic Events. Opening act Allentown, a Billy Joel tribute band, precedes headliner Lookin’ Back, a Bob Seger tribute act billed as Detroit’s original Bob Seger legacy band. Lookin’ Back will perform Seger’s Night Moves album in full, track by track. The band has collaborated with original Silver Bullet Band members. Admission is free.
