Barrow County Cruisers hosts a Halloween-themed car, bike and truck show with trunk or treat activities Oct. 24 from 4 to 8 p.m. at 189 W. Athens St. in Winder. Registration is $20 and includes candy for participants to distribute to children from their vehicles. More than 40 trophies will be awarded, including a Cruisers Choice award. The event features a best decorated car contest, best kids costume contest and scariest costume contest. Food includes hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, pit stop chili cheese dogs, chili cheese fries, cold drinks, ice cream and slushies. Halloween goodie bags will be provided for children.
