The Bear Creek Community Club hosts its first annual Palmer Celebration Car Show on August 29 at Palmer Park in Palmer. Registration runs from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with voting and judging from noon to 1:30 p.m. All makes and models are welcome.
Trophies will be awarded for first, second, and third place, along with People’s Choice, Hudson’s Choice, and several random awards. Custom handmade trophies will be presented to winners. The first 20 registered cars receive vinyl decals.
The event features food, games, prizes, live music, bounce houses, and Ol’Dobyns the horse. Car admission is by donation, with $10 encouraged. Proceeds support future car shows and community club activities.
