Benefit Cruise-In for Fire for the Lord BBQ

Gearheads 4 Christ and 903TX host a benefit cruise-in for Fire for the Lord BBQ, a Greenville restaurant that suffered significant fire damage. No one was injured, but the owners, their family and their employees face the work and expense of rebuilding.

The afternoon brings together food, cars, music, prayer and community support at 8707 Wesley St. in Greenville. Fire for the Lord will serve lunch from its food truck in the parking lot from 11 a.m. until sold out, and guests are encouraged to come hungry and support the restaurant directly. Music from Gigi and Randy Burgess plays throughout the event.

The gathering is a classic car cruise-in rather than a formal show. Owners of classics, hot rods, muscle cars, trucks, customs and other special rides are invited to fill the parking lot. There is no admission charge.

Prayer will be available for anyone who would like it, and organizers will take time to pray for Fire for the Lord, its family, employees and the road ahead. A donation bucket will be available for contributions toward rebuilding and renovation expenses and family expenses while the restaurant recovers.
