Beyond the Shadows — Poker Run & Auto Show, a benefit event for families impacted by suicide, takes place Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026, at VFW Post 1380, 1131 Sugar Grove Rd., Lancaster, Ohio.
The poker run is open to all vehicles, with registration priced at $20 per vehicle. The route begins at 7919 Lancaster Newark Rd. NE. The best hand wins $777.
A car, bike and truck show runs alongside the poker run, with a $20 entry fee. Awards include a $250 People’s Choice Award, first-place and runner-up trophies, Top 25 wall plaques, and a dash plaque for the first 50 registrants. Car show registration opens at noon and runs through 2 p.m.
Entertainment includes raffles, a 50/50 drawing, a vendor show, food trucks and a live DJ. Vendor registration and setup begins at noon.
