Boo Bash Demo Derby

The Boo Bash Demo Derby brings a demolition derby and Halloween activities to the Wadena County Fairgrounds in Wadena, Minnesota. Tech inspection opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 1 p.m., and the show starts at 2 p.m.

Racing includes Big Cars Stock, Big Trucks Stock, Compact Cars Stock, Compact Trucks Stock, Limited Weld Big Car, Modified Compact Cars (run what you bring), FAB Bonestock and FAB Bonestock Trucks. Youth Auto-Cross runs for drivers ages 10 to 15, and Auto-Cross Racing is also on the card. Entry is $80 for the big and compact stock classes, $40 for Youth Auto-Cross and $60 for Auto-Cross Racing. All classes except FAB Bonestock receive two extra 6x6x1/4 fix plates per rail.

All classes pay back 100 percent, and a best paint and costume contest is part of the day. Prizes and giveaways run throughout the event, and attendees are invited to come dressed scary.

After the show, at 6 p.m. or later, a derby car trunk or treat offers giveaways and candy for children. Participants can then head to the haunted house on the fairgrounds. Grandstand and pit admission is $20 and includes a $5 discount at the haunted house with a paid wristband; children 5 and under are free.
