The Bothwell Optimist Club presents Bothwell Opty-Fest, a two-day automotive event at Victoria Park in Bothwell, Ontario. The event runs Friday and Saturday, August 7-8, 2026, featuring an automotive flea market both days starting at 8 a.m. and a mega car show on Saturday showcasing antique, classic and special interest vehicles.
Friday admission is $5 for adults, Saturday is $10, with children under 12 free when accompanied by an adult. Gates open after 8 a.m. each day. Vendor sites are $100. Car show registration is $10 at the gate on Saturday until noon, which includes the driver and one passenger.
Saturday features live music by Cole Pereira and a new car corral where vehicles must be driven into the show through the main entrance. Special draws for gifts begin at 11 a.m. and run hourly. Major draws start at 3:30 p.m., followed by the Firemen’s 50/50 draw at 4 p.m., which paid $32,842.50 each way in 2025. Winners must be present and check the prize board regularly, as numbers will not be broadcast.
A parade of vintage vehicles takes place Friday at 7 p.m., running from the arena to the park. RM Auto Restoration will award two trophies for favorite unmodified and modified vehicles.
