Broke Bucket Garage hosts an all-European car show at LeMay Collections at Marymount in Spanaway. Car show staging begins at 9:30 a.m., with general admission at 11 a.m. Entry is $20 for show cars and $10 for general admission; children under 14 are free. The event welcomes all European vehicles, including VW, Porsche, Audi, BMW, Volvo, Mercedes, Citroen, Fiat and Mini. Specific parking corrals are designated for aircooled, MK1 and MK2 vehicles.
People’s choice trophies will be awarded in categories including Best Car, Best Wheels, Best Interior, Best MK1 through MK4 & Newer, Best Bug, Best Bus, Best Vanagon and Best Other Euro. Special trophies include Kids Choice, Reimers Award, Club Choice and Biggest Bucket. Activities include a best beard competition at 1 p.m., ugliest service animal contest at 1:15 p.m. and car limbo at 1:45 p.m. A kids zone features sack races and tug-of-war. Raffle tickets are $2 each, three for $5 or arm length for $20. Trophy presentations begin around 3 p.m., with raffles and a 50/50 drawing at 2:45 p.m.
Big Daddy Yum Yums will provide food. Merchandise includes shirts for $25, hoodies for $60, pins for $10, stickers two for $5, lanyards for $5 and koozies for $5. Venue rules prohibit alcohol and burnouts. Title sponsors include H&R Suspension, Kassel Motorsports, Olympia Autoworks, Griot’s Garage and DCI-VW.
