Brookdale Hawthorn Lakes hosts a car show Aug. 15 in Vernon Hills to benefit Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Team Brookdale. The event runs from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 10 E. Hawthorn Parkway.
