Brooklyn Home Days will take place at Brooklyn High School with events starting at 12:30 p.m. and continuing until 9 p.m. The day begins with a kickoff parade at 12:30 p.m. featuring the Brooklyn High School Marching Band, Brooklyn Police and Fire departments, Chamber of Commerce, Brooklyn Youth Football, and Brooklyn Sports. Parade spectators can line up along Biddulph Road and Roadoan Road.
Activities throughout the day include free kids activities, a magician, and performances by Recess Cleveland. A car show runs from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., and craft vendors will be present from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Food trucks, pie in the face events, 50/50 raffles, and basket raffles will also be available.
Music performances are scheduled throughout the afternoon, including Dawn to Dusk from 1 to 1:45 p.m., North Coast Prost. Polka Band from 2 to 3:15 p.m., Lebanese Dancing Group from 3:30 to 3:50 p.m., Becky Boyd from 4 to 4:45 p.m., No Strangers Here from 5 to 5:45 p.m., and Sounds From Cellar from 6 p.m. The Nova’s Performing Arts Center Dance Group will perform in the kids’ area.
Fireworks will be held at 9 p.m. to close out the event.
