A burnout competition takes place July 24 at El Palenque in Cave City. Categories include stock, modified, drag and motorcycle/ATV/SXS. Winners are determined by crowd loudness, with the audience noise level deciding each class. Registration begins at 6 p.m. with an entry fee of $15 per class. Competition starts at 6:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by Reeds Service, JL Auto, Grizzly Garage and Down Home Motors.
