Car Show At T4 KartPlex

T4 KartPlex and Drive Eat Repeat present a Halloween-themed evening of candy, karts and horsepower at the Palmetto track. The event combines a trunk-or-treat with a car show and shine, go-kart racing and a vendor fair.

Trunk-or-treating runs alongside a vendor fair where local businesses decorate company vehicles for Halloween and hand out candy and goodies to children. A kid village offers electric karts for ages 3 to 12, and rental karts are available for adults 12 and older who stand at least 5 feet tall. Closed-toed shoes are required for go-kart racing, and booking sessions run all evening.

The racing card includes a Shifter-only feature race for the fastest karts on track, which reach speeds of 85 mph or more, with a $1,000 sponsored prize purse and a $40 driver entry. A McQueen demo and a haunted horsepower parade close out the night, with vendors invited to join the parade. Attendees are encouraged to come in costume and bring the kids.

Admission is free to attend. The event runs 5:30-8:30 p.m. Oct. 30 at T4 KartPlex, 10101 US Highway 41 N in Palmetto.
