The Caring for America Texas Handleston County First Responder Scholarship Car Show will be held at East Texas Car Shows Only, located at 1798 E. Hwy 31 in Athens. The event features 23 vehicle classes and a free kids class.
Registration runs from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., with judging beginning at 11 a.m. Unique, custom awards will be presented at 2:30 p.m. The entry fee is $25. All proceeds will benefit high school scholarships for students pursuing careers as first responders.
