The Cars and Coffee Rockford: 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat will take place on October 25, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Machesney Park, Illinois. The event invites attendees to wear Halloween costumes and bring decorated cars filled with candy. The best decorated car will receive a trophy, while second place will win a free photoshoot from ART Media. Unicorn Fluff will sell cotton candy and sodas, and Bing’s Drive In will offer a variety of food. DJ Joe Locke will provide music. Organizers remind everyone to be respectful to the area and local residents, with prohibited behaviors such as burnouts and excessive revving not tolerated.
