The Tarheel Classic Thunderbirds Club hosts a monthly Cars and Coffee event in the parking lot of the NC Doll and Toy Museum in Spencer, NC. The next gathering is set for June 21, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring any type of car, including classics, cruisers, project cars, supercars, or restomods. The club will offer hot coffee, canned cold coffee, and breakfast food for sale. The event may be postponed to the following third Saturday in case of bad weather. The NC Doll and Toy Museum is located at 440 S. Salisbury Ave., Spencer, NC 28159, across from the NC Transportation Museum.
