Cars at the Lounge hosts a car show and animal food drive Saturday, Aug. 8, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Play Lounge Bar and Grill, 204 Peacock Street, Pottsville. The event benefits Hillside S.P.C.A. Inc. Animal Shelter. Participants can show off their cars while helping collect food for shelter animals. The kitchen will be open all night. Music will be provided by Str-8 Savage and Hyde the Righteous. This is an 18-and-up event. Parking is available in the back. No excessive revving or burnouts allowed.
