The annual Pinewood Derby & Car Show, sponsored by Centex Rats and Rods, will take place on May 30 in Hewitt, Texas. Registration opens at 9 a.m. and the race begins at 10 a.m. The entry fee is $5. Car kits are available for purchase at the Welcome Center for $5, or participants may use their own kits. The event will also feature food trucks and classic cars.
