Cheap Chevrolet celebrates 75 years on the road with a special anniversary event on Saturday, September 5th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 714 W. Water Street in Flemingsburg. The dealership, established in 1951, marks three-quarters of a century serving the community. The celebration honors the Cheap family’s legacy, including founders John W. Cheap and Doris Cheap, along with Paula Hyatt, Calvin Cheap, and Susan Cheap, who have helped make the dealership’s growth possible since its origins as The Cheap Garage in 1940.
