About This Event
Divine Sundays and Pedal Press present the Chico Day of the Dead Festival at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds, combining cultural education with a community celebration of Día de Muertos. Entry is free. The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The lowrider car show is staged with the Chico Impalas Car Club. Owners who want to register a ride contact @verocastro530. More than 100 local vendors and roughly 20 food trucks and stalls fill the grounds, and a bar operates next to the main stage.
A scavenger hunt teaches the community about the cultural significance of Day of the Dead, and live mural paintings are part of the program. Fernweh Photobus offers a free photo booth. Pets are welcome but must be held in arms or kept on a leash. Parking is available at the fairgrounds. Vendor applications are closed. The festival is funded by the City of Chico 2026 Arts Commission Grant.
