CHS’s Annual Classic Fun in the Sun Car Show

Crest High School hosts its annual Fun in the Sun Car Show on August 29, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 603 E Broad St in Colony, KS.

Registration runs from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., with judging from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and awards at 2 p.m. Pre-registration costs $10, while day-of-show registration is $20. The first 25 entries receive goodie bags.

Awards will be presented to the top 20 vehicles, Best of Show, and top two motorcycles. The event features music, food, a 50/50 pot, and door prizes. Breakfast and burgers will be served from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., with hamburgers available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

All proceeds benefit school organizations.
