Cold Starts

Cold Starts is a monthly car meet hosted by Capitol Car Club on the last Saturday of every month, rain or shine, at Chloé Cà Phê + Roastery at 2521 Jazz Alley in Midtown Sacramento. The gathering runs from 8 to 10 a.m.

The meet keeps the format small and intentional, drawing roughly 20 to 30 cars and emphasizing conversation over car counts. Families are welcome, and attendees are encouraged to bring their kids and leave the ego at home.

The alley location is deliberate: it is a space where cars cannot speed through, and the club aims to foster community rather than chase viral attention. The parking deck is available for attendees.

Guests can grab a coffee and talk shop, then take a five-minute walk to the Farmers Market without parking stress. The site is private property, and organizers ask attendees to respect the spot; those who do not will be asked to leave.
