Columbus, North Dakota, celebrates its 120th anniversary on August 1 with a classic car and bike show on Main Street from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Entry is free, with prizes awarded to the top ten vehicles, best of show, best bike, and furthest travel. The day begins with a brunch at Hygge Hills Community Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by ice cream and cake at 3 p.m. at Faith Lutheran. A community picnic supper, sponsored by Phoenix Energy, takes place at Lions Park at 5:30 p.m. Evening activities include karaoke by Bree from 7 to 11 p.m. and a corn hole tournament at 8 p.m. on Main Street. Afternoon options include golfing, pinochle, and a bouncy toy. A drink and soda tent will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
