The Constableville Volunteer Fireman’s Field Days takes place July 31 and August 1. Friday evening features a cruise-in car show from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the 28th Annual Gordy Uhl Memorial Softball Tournament starting at 6 p.m., and live music by Tony Long Toes from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday begins with day two of the softball tournament at 8 a.m. Garden tractor pull registration opens at 9 a.m., with the pull starting at 10 a.m. Youth activities run throughout the day, sponsored by the Constableville Fire Youth Group. Free entertainment at 1 p.m. includes Haley’s Twisted Creations and Drew’s Walk-Around Magic, with free face painting by Geodesic Love from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
A parade steps off at 7 p.m., followed by Madison Keefer singing at the flag raising. Small Town Glory performs from 8 p.m. to midnight, with parade winners and drawings announced during the band break. Food and activities continue all day. No coolers or pets allowed. Volunteers interested in becoming EMTs or firefighters can speak with any volunteer on the grounds.
