The Cook Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual Car Show on Sunday, July 20, 2025, as part of the Cook Days celebration. The event will take place at 202 W Main St, Cook, Nebraska. Registration is from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
Participants may enter their vehicles with no entry fee, though free-will donations supporting the local firefighters are encouraged. Public voting will determine winners in various categories, including Best Car, Best Truck, Best Motorcycle, Best Rat Rod, Best Tractor, and Chief’s Choice.
Additional activities include a Pancake Breakfast starting at 8 AM, Kids Inflatables from 11 AM to 2 PM, a Bake Sale & Lunch between 11 AM and 2 PM, and a Raffle Drawing at 2 PM featuring prizes such as guns and half-hogs.
