The Humbugs VW Club hosts its 20th annual Coolin’ It in the Redwoods car show on Saturday, Aug. 1, at Pierson Park in McKinleyville, California.
All Volkswagens are welcome regardless of year or condition, including both air-cooled and water-cooled models. Day-of registration is $30. Pre-registration is $20 and must be submitted by July 15; early registrants receive a free goodie bag. Pre-registration forms are available by emailing the Humbugs VW Club at their Gmail address.
The event features a raffle, silent auction and T-shirts for sale. Awards include Best of Show and People’s Choice. Spectators are admitted free of charge. No alcohol is permitted on the grounds.
The Humbugs VW Club is a nonprofit organization that contributes to local charitable groups in Humboldt County.
