The Rotterdam Police Department hosts its annual Cops and Rodders Show as part of National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026, at 100 Princetown Rd. in Rotterdam. The event runs from 5 p.m. to dusk, with registration opening at 4:30 p.m. Participants are asked not to arrive before 4:30 p.m. to allow for setup.
All makes, models and bikes are welcome. No pre-registration or payment is required – admission and participation are free. Custom-built trophies and custom license plates will be awarded, along with new T-shirts and decals/magnets available at the event. Awards are handed out at 7:45 p.m.
The evening includes food vendors, music, entertainment, displays from local fire departments, the K9 Division of the Schenectady County Sheriff’s Office, and booths from local businesses. A professional fireworks display closes out the night. A rain date of Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026, has been set. Any donations received go directly toward funding the event; it is not a fundraiser.
