The Northwest Neighborhood Alliance presents the inaugural Cruise-In by the Green in downtown Owensboro, Ky., on Labor Day weekend. The cruise-in will take place along 2nd Street from Frederica Street to Locust Street, and along St. Elizabeth Street from 2nd to 3rd Street, with entry at 3rd Street and St. Elizabeth Street.
All vehicles are welcome, including classic cars, hot rods, trucks, customs and cruisers. The event is free to attend, with monetary donations accepted in support of the Northwest Neighborhood Alliance. The first 100 vehicles to arrive will receive a commemorative inaugural dash plaque.
The cruise-in runs concurrently with the 5th Annual Groovin’ on the Green concert on the Owensboro Convention Center lawn, where attendees can also enjoy live music, food trucks and vendors. The event is family friendly.
