About This Event
The 43rd Cruise to the Woods is an annual car show and cruise hosted by the WC Cruisers Car Club at Lizard Creek Ranch in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Drawing over 1,200 vehicles from 1919 through modern classics of tomorrow, the event gathers participants from across the Midwest and beyond.
Nine coordinated cruise routes begin across Iowa and Minnesota, stopping in towns along the way before merging in Stratford to form a massive caravan of cars, trucks, and motorcycles traveling together to Lizard Creek Ranch. Attendees and spectators who prefer not to cruise are welcome to arrive directly at the ranch grounds to watch the procession enter.
The event site features both indoor and outdoor craft vendor shows, on-site food concessions, music by Mojo Productions DJ Service, event apparel, and special drawings held throughout the day. Gates and registration open at 8:00 AM, with grand prize drawings of $1,000, $700, and $500 along with the Favorite 15, Memorial, and special trophies presented at 3:00 PM.
