A Benefit 5K and Car Show will be held on August 2, 2025, at John Hardin High School, 384 W A Jenkins Road, Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The event supports Jimmy Hardesty, who has been diagnosed with Stage Four Metastatic Lung Cancer.
Car show registration is from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., judging from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., and awards will be presented at 1:30 p.m. Categories for awards include Jim’s Choice, Best of Show, Top 10, Best Ford, Best Mustang, Best Chevy, Best Tri-Five, Best Mopar, Best Street Rod, Best Rat Rod, Best Truck, Best Pontiac, Best Oldsmobile, Best Jeep, Best Convertible, Best Foreign, Best Wagon, Best 4 Door, and Best Other.
The event will feature music, food trucks, a 50/50 raffle, and other family activities. All proceeds will benefit Jimmy Hardesty.
